Liam Hooper began directing in his native UK before going on to helm an award-winning feature film and second-unit direct across film and television. Now based in Los Angeles, he has directed screen legend Christopher Lloyd and led two television pilots. His latest film, The Soulless, follows two teenage girls whose innocent attempt to “fix” the people who hurt them creates something both tragic and terrifying. Inspired by the look and feel of ’80s horror, it’s a story about friendship, cruelty and getting exactly what you wished for, only to realise too late that some souls might not deserve saving. Or worse... that they do.
